Fraternity Initiation at Fincley Lake Weekend

The Alpha Chapter of the Phalanx Fraternity held an informal initiation at Fincley Lake. Three candidates, Charles Burkhart, Robert Sears, and Frank Ferry, received the Aeries during canal dates. Bruce Ellsworth oversaw initiation with Lyle Ghage guiding the candidates. After the ceremony members spoke on their reasons for joining, followed by remarks from district secretary C. M. Hengst and mentor W. Pomeroy. A weiner roast and brief talks ended the evening. Sunday featured a tircon dinner closing a delightful outing.
