Meadville May 10 delegates Glwy Lolteiter HB Pickett City Ruginder B J Miller and Councilman Whit nley Braymor traveled to Harrisburg to seek more time on the order to erect a sewage disposal plant. Dr Dixon head of the department said he would present the request to the State Sanitary Board. no outcome yet.
Dao Hoffman advance agent of the Mighty Haag Shows was in the city arranging for the appearance on Wednesday May 29 at the East Wayne street field. The event is billed as the cup of the big attractions and stands as the sole major show in town.

The inquest found planning to get away with help and money in his possession, while tools and a suit were said to have been removed from his room and the body had not been recovered.
At a special election Westfield residents approved a 50 year franchise for Welch Natural Gas Company to supply gas at 40 cents per thousand cubic feet. Voters also authorized spending 26000 for brick paving on North Portage Street from Main to Campbell Road. The proposal passed 179 to 66 with several women voters casting ballots.

A young man was found dead near Saegertown while working on the Erie railroad. Coroner William J. Byham planned a morning visit to Saegertown to investigate. The body was taken to Undertaker Hunter’s rooms, and authorities were notified. The man reportedly left a note implying possible suicide and refused to discuss details until meeting the coroner.
