Diplomats clash as US Cuba Dominican issue falls to OAS
The UN Security Council devoted its session to speeches by Fedorenko Stevenson and Alvarez. Stevenson compared Soviet attacks on the United States to Stalin era rhetoric, while Fedorenko condemned American imperialism in Latin America. The council is expected to defer the Dominican question to the Organization of American States and reject Soviet and Cuban demands.
