Ice Blown From Dunkirk Lake Erie Coastline

A Mar 15 report from Dunkirk describes a 55 mph wind driving lake ice ashore and off the lake, opening channels for whitefish nets. Tugs can resume fishing once storms subside, with bull nets allowed this year. The ice damaged east shore structures, Midway Park’s dock nearly collapsed, and rail lines near Jamestown to Northwesteb were cleared.
