He lived in Tunnville Harrisburg and managed the Harrisburg Telegram before moving to Washington D C where he ran a medicine business. He often visited Corry sharing reminiscences of the oil boom and early scenes of the area.
Buffalo dispatch reports Virginia Lewin a 22 year old Huntington College student was declared missing after leaving for California. Partners claim she had been en route and they knew of no information on her whereabouts. The notice frames the case as a missing person mystery with no clear lead.
Bandits held up two Strauss Hirshberg Company employees in front of the store shortly after 1 a.m. today and escaped with $20,000 mostly in cash. One employee was forced into the bandits' automobile but later released. The hold up occurred at the entrance to the store building.
Harrisburg reports the final two measures in a 20 plus rail of revenue bills for Gov. Warle's program prepared for introduction in the House. Washington March 18 say the senate judiciary committee voted today on the controversial 30 hour week bill sponsored by Senator Hugo L Black Dylla. No record vote was taken. It was indicated that even opponents within the committee appeared to favor presenting the measure to the full senate.
Harrisburg March 18 The state chamber of commerce urged members to oppose Governor George H. Earle's proposals. President Ernest J Poole Reading labeled items in the administration's program as threats to business. He cited a 203 million tax plan railroad bills and a new workmen's compensation law as likely to cause chaos and unemployment.
Corry's Arcade Restaurant in the Traction Building shut down with interiors dark and most fixtures moved out early Sunday. Operated by Mrs. George Phillips and Mrs. Chris Venigies for years, the firm gave no comment while reports mention a sizable unpaid obligation. The Traction Building is owned by Dunkirk interests. no reopening plans or actions were disclosed.

Two couples from Corry and Spring Creek were injured when a car driven by Leggie Donaldson left the Lakewood Sugar Grove road. Donaldson and his wife and Mr and Mrs Donald Wilcox were treated at Sugar Grove for a range of injuries after the head on collision with a parked car.
Thomas Besson of Pleasantville files in Fine County Court Saturday against Mrs. iia B. Mitchell of North Canton Ohio over a July 7 auto collision near Conneaut Ohio. Emma Atkinson 15 formerly of Corry was killed. Benson sustained permanent injuries. Benson and his sister-in-law were en route to visit relatives when his car collided head-on with Mitchell. The accident also claimed Mitchell’s wife and Miss Atkinson. Damages total 1815.50.
London reports Prince Al ois Milivani, set to be divorced from Barbara Hutton Morant, will assume a title and receive a settlement including ten cent store funds. The arrangement promises financial security for the remainder of his life.
