State police at the Corry substation brought Jerry Howell 21 of Cambridge Springs to the city police station at noon today as part of a car theft case. Two men, Edward Estes 20 and William Walker 24, were held for larceny after they stole Miss M Lucille Kimmey s car and attempted three others during a June 18 spree. A third suspect remains at large. Police say the trio used wires under the dash to try starting cars and cruised the town before being stopped. Continued on page eight.

Other suspects include Andrew R. tenor, UD 1 Waterford, and Harvey Dewey, 17, RD 1 Waterford, accused of entering the station May 4 and stealing tires, oil, and three cartons of cigarettes valued around 300 dollars.
