A tractor trailer carrying asphalt siding and roofing failed to negotiate a curve south of Spartansburg and rolled over, causing about $6,000 damage. Dale W. A freight train 27 cars loaded with general merchandise derailed two miles from Cambridge Springs at 6:20 AM while westbound from Buffalo to Meadville. A journal burned through, causing the wreck that blocked the track and scattered merchandise. No injuries reported. traffic rerouted and crews from Salamanca and Meadville responding.
