A six year old girl, daughter of Dr and Mrs Dobry Moby of 229 Wright Street, died unexpectedly after tonsillectomy surgery at Corry Memorial Hospital. She had completed her first year of school and was a member of St Pauls Lutheran Church. She is survived by her parents, a brother, maternal and paternal grandparents, and other relatives. Funeral services are planned at Bracken Funeral Home with interment at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Corry and its police department saw a relatively calm May with 367 parking tickets the highest item of note. Calls of a general nature numbered 69, while serious cases included indecent liberties leading to an arrest and several liquor, burglary, and mischief incidents.
