The Coyle brothers, William 22 and John 24, were captured by state troopers in woods about half a mile from the liquor store they held up Monday. William died from police bullets after being wounded. John was unharmed. A tip from Walter Schmidt led police to the Canova home in South Middleboro where the brothers were found.

Corry Memorial Hospital elected a new president of the Northwest Regional Hospital Association of Pennsylvania yesterday. A three alarm blaze tore through a four story West Side building killing five children trapped on the third and fourth floors. Fire crews fought the flames for about an hour and found Mor Mortis aged 5 and her brother Willian in 1 months among the victims.
