Henry Jaggs and Harold Warns, both about 21, were jailed ten days in Mayville after arrest at Clymer Saturday following a raid on the Tenpas Power House. They were caught after a lengthy search by a Clymer posse when neighbors spotted them driving from the mill with stolen old machinery and junk. Speedboat crash injures spectators at Seattle lake racing
Adolph Spreckies of Eugene Oregon, a sportsman, was hurt when his roving outboard speedboat went out of control and plunged into a crowd at Green Lake during a race heat. Fifteen spectators were injured and Spreckies was thrown from the craft and impaled briefly on a telephone pole. He was semiconscious until rescued and weakened by loss of blood.
