Pittsburgh and West Virginia Railway reports April net income of 56498 versus a net loss of 25862 in April 1985. Year to date through April, income totals 126087 compared with 2388 for the first four months of 1935.
Hugh S. Rodgers, a 87 year old Erie Railroad freight brakeman from Meadville R D 4, slid while moving from a side slap to the running board near the West Eng yards Friday afternoon. He threw himself back to avoid the rails, was dragged briefly but escaped fractures and is expected to be discharged soon after X rays showed injuries to his right leg and left shoulder.
Members of the 1916 class of Qorry High School and families gathered at Shoemaker's Inn, Rindley Lake, for an afternoon and evening reunion. Thirty-two attended with games, visiting, and a 6 o'clock dinner. a class history was read and the yearbook Waste-Viewed shown. Tulsa reports a Kansas City woman, Mrs. Buin Schlitt, petitions in probate court for guardianship of her son eray Asher Schlitt, 13, claiming he should inherit a $5 million estate tied to the late Tulsa and Pittsburg oilman H Gibson. Gibson died April 18 in a Tulsa hospital. his will filed April 24 in Pittsburgh provides a $2.8 million trust for measures aiding the poor.
