See No Boost in Grant for County Roads
County reports show no increase in state or federal road funds for Erie County. About 186000 has been set aside for road work, expected to cover West Lake road improvements and widening Lake road, potentially consuming the entire grant without additional allocations. Grade crossing elimination projects in Erie County totalling around 700000 are also noted, with locations to be announced after surveys and bid solicitations.
