Sentenced For Spying For Russia
Col Stig Wennerstrom of the Swedish air force is sentenced to life in prison for spying for the Soviet Union. It is Sweden's harshest peacetime sentence. Local Woman Escapes In Wreck Near Butler
Mrs. Arthur Cohen returning from Pittsburgh where her husband was admitted to hospital was in an auto crash near Butler. She passed another car, lost control, struck guard rails and rolled over an embankment. She escaped with bruises while the auto was a near total loss. Her husband, owner of Leed’s, faces about ten days in Braddock General Hospital for heart treatment.
