Skin Divers Recover Body At Canadohta Lake
UNION CITY The body of a 24 year old vacationing school teacher was recovered from Canadohta Lake after a 30 hour search by volunteers. David Leffler of Houston Pennsylvania was found in about 40 feet of murky water, his arm the only readable part of him, by divers James and Robert Hollenberger of Pittsburgh who read of the tragedy in a newspaper. Officials said wind hampered boats and an Army duck was used but proved unsuccessful. Leffler's death was ruled drowning by Crawford County deputy coroner Dr W H Earnest. the body was taken to a Pittsburgh funeral home.
