Erie Couple Die in Crash While Vacationing in Netherlands
An Erie couple, Phillip A. Sollman 66 and Johanna 53, were killed in a late Thursday crash involving a car and a truck in Appledorn The Netherlands. Richard Sollman said funeral services will be held in Erie after preparations to transport the bodies home. Both were born in Holland and emigrated to the United States in 1952. Sollman worked 14 years at General Electric Co before retiring last year. Mrs Sollman was a nurse at Hamot Medical Center.
