Romaniszyn Starts Second Year With Patriots
FOXBORO Mass Jim Romaniszyn begins his second NFL season with the New England Patriots after joining as a free agent last year. The Titusville High School and Edinboro State College alum, a key inside linebacker and core special teams player, missed three games with a shoulder injury but is expected to bolster a veteran linebacking unit. Patriots coach Chuck Fairbanks stresses improved special teams play and notes the schedule looks easier than 1976. The team has trained at Bryant College with a Sept 18 home opener against Kansas City looming.
