Two Churches Enjoy Outings On Wednesday
Members of the First Presbyterian and First Baptist churches held outings Wednesday. The Presbyterian group visited Angeles Park Lake Canadoha while the Baptist group went to Whiteley's Grove north of the city. About 150 to 200 in the Presbyterian Sunday School joined a picnic with games, races, and entertainment for all ages. A male versus female church game featured a win for the Benefts. Battery was Lewis and Tamibing. Williams and Mac Spurious contributed. Shady warnings about counterfeit $20 bills mentioned, urging caution and noting the fake notes bear a Grey Cleveland image and are easy to detect.
