Claims Property Damaged by Dry Agents in Raid

George Ward, who runs an East South Street auto wash, accuses Federal prohibition agents of damaging his garage during a raid that found no liquor while absent from town. Neighbor Sam Baumgarten disputes the story of arrests and notes two gallons of liquor were taken from his home, not his shop. Five defendants, including Pete Giros and Stanley Malek, were arraigned in Erie. Giros and Malek remanded on $1,000 bail each, others released on bond. Hearing set for July 13.
