Leg Crushed in Paper Yard Accident at Journal Office
At about 11 15 this morning L A Eggleston 288 East Main street suffered a compound fracture when a heavy roll of paper crushed his left leg while unloading at the Journal office. He was taken to Corry hospital in serious condition. Eggleston, employed by George Carnicke local drayman, was in the rear of the office when two heavy rolls were moved from a wagon and he was caught between them. His right leg sustained bruises and his condition remained serious as hospital staff treated the injuries.
