Rebecca the months old daughter was also burned and inhaled smoke. Stanley Hickley 20 Luther Jr. 10 and boarder Blynn Cox 24 were burned or escaped using a second floor window onto a porch roof.
The police pension fund has grown to about 54 954 with deposits across seven savings associations nationwide. In 1968 total deposits reached 90, while the fund paid out 9 000 in expenses and 1 150 in pension payments. Current deposits total 10 000 placed in five associations, with two at maximum capacity and a plan to add more.
Byron G. Ubeht, 79, longtime journalist and former city editor and telegraph editor for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, died yesterday in Austin. A native of Ottumwa Iowa, his 53-year career included 36 years with the Star-Telegram.
City records show 4 082 arrests in 1958 in Corty with 3 898 city code violations and 180 arrests for other offenses.
