Oldest Warren business may close as owner retires
The Opportunity Club meets at Mrs. Kibler's home while leather merchant B. S. Keller signals retirement, planning to vacate his Pennsylvania Avenue store. The closing would end a 92 year family enterprise begun by Benjamin Nesmith and Sextus Keller, passing through L. A. Keller after the founders' deaths. Saturday and Sunday specials highlight local shop sales and community notices cover a church class meeting and various local events.

Purity Club Supper Sets Local Planning Debates
The Purity Club held a supper at Mra M C Honsteg’s North Center Street residence. After musical readings and songs by Bex Starr and Mrs Foster-Davin with TD J Alexander, members discussed locating a Junior High on the old Awer tannery site and a new hotel on the Corry Water Supply site. They also debated a new passenger station and yearlong improvements, but postponed further actions to a future meeting. The 1924 program was reviewed without a final decision, and the gathering ended with the unresolved question Why is a City Commission. Mrs M E Ballard attended from North East. Mediterranean depth noted as about 1,430 feet.
