In Erie, officials report a prolonged gas outage affecting the city for many hours. The incident disrupted service between Watishung and Powville along the pipeline area. Crews worked to restore supply, with partial restoration anticipated as conditions improved.
Reported theft at the Express Company involving two youths and two older suspects. The workmen seized cash and wheels from a delivery wagon on December 20 and a January 7 incident tied to a local town. four youths were arrested and held for court after statements.

Funeral services for Thomas Bell were held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 in memory of Bell. The body was brought from Gary Titel to the city and taken to Alexander’s Undertaking Parlour for services led by Rev J A Marti of the Pyne church. Interment followed at Ping Gere cemetery with pallbearers named Bell John Tell AvekTe Fall Wititaaie Bell Chathen McMillagr dink Cimy Gam doa relatives and many city residents in attendance.
