Alfred J. Stubby of Auburn and Cole L. Sisson of Aline were killed instantly when their automobile was struck by an Erie train at a crossing two miles east of Wellsville. A blinding snowstorm hindered visibility as the driver reportedly failed to judge the train’s speed.
The Kiwanis Club of Gorry forms on a Saturday afternoon at the Chamber of Commerce. Temporary officers include Al D. Stimers and a board of directors with William Murray as president and Donald Fintith as vice president.
