Early today a two story frame home owned by Mr and Mrs George Willover on State Line Road near Corry Cuttingtwown was gutted by fire traced to a defective chimney. Corry firemen responded at 748 am and returned at 1030 am with help from Clymer and Wattsburg crews. About 14 firefighters battled the blaze hampered by water shortages until tank trucks supplied water. the rear of the dwelling was saved and investigators noted partial insurance coverage. The Willover home sits off the Corry Cuttingtows near the state line.

Attempted airliner bombing ends in suicide at sea
