Provisa December 31 report describes a wind toppled a stack and damaged a furnace gas pipes, triggering a shelf of gas and a later explosion. Officer Beers halted the fire by extinguishing lights and ensuring safety as gas filled the basement.
Kane Des 31 Glagomio Mug ila wanted for murder in Ramsey Town Jefferson county was arrested by Elk County officials at Kersey Tuesday. He was taken to Ridgway jail. Deputy M G Mayes transported him. Michele Movilla, said to aid the crime, is at large. Frank Kelise of Ramsey Town died after a Christmas brawl left him with a fractured skull. Sheriff Mayes sought suspects but learned Giacomo and Magilla were the attackers after a warrant for assault with intent to kill was issued. The assailants fled Ramseytown.
