Alumni Defeat High School In Holiday Armory Showdown

The annual ten minute quarters basketball game at the Armory ended with Alumni winning 80 to 9 over the High School. Alumni players Cowles Lyons Crippen Marsh and Wellman starred while the High School lineup included McKinney Williams Gretsler Bou dreau Babtiut and Wels.

Third Annual N. I. T. Party Held Tonight

The third annual New Year’s party by the Toon club takes place at the State Armory on Washington Street. Col Ransom Injured in Erie Accident on Icy Sidewalk

Col Ransom traveled to Erie to review tax assessments with County Commissioners but suffered a serious injury after slipping on an icy sidewalk at the county seat. He was helped home by cab, and remains under care today. Mrs J B Drought, also in Erie, was reported to be improving after her trip.

United States to File Charges Against Japan

Washington reports say the United States will file charges against Japan for alleged contraband shipments. A prominent Pueblo delegation member hinted charges would be brought soon, linked to seized cargoes diverted from their destinations and condemned as contraband. Mayors and City Solicitor Back Amendments Favored at Convention
