A club gathering at Mrs Henry Fosburghs Maple Avenue residence last evening saw awards given to Mrs Robert Wotus Mrs Jack Walsh and Mrs Richard Orn while Mrs Joseph Frisina attended as a special guest. The next meeting is scheduled March 23 at Mrs Wotus in West Washington Street with Fosburghs birthday to be observed.

Catholic groups plan events and auctions in March social
The Catholic Daughters of America Court Conception No. 35 schedules a February meeting with a white elephant auction at St Thomas School auditorium tomorrow at 8 pm chaired by Mrs. Joseph Catalfu and hospitality led by Mrs. Miller and colleagues. A March 20 gathering at Mr and Mrs Dan Reynolds home is announced. Girl Scout workshops by the Chautauqua Area Council occur this week at Marine Midland Falconer and First United Methodist Fredonia from 7:30 to 9:30 pm led by leaders sharing Brownie to Cadette inter-troop activities. The reception served 400 guests at Venture Inn, then the couple planned a weeklong honeymoon before settling in Jamestown New York. Elks Lodge Charity Dinner and Dance Set for March 13
The annual Elks charity dinner and dance will be held March 13 at the Lodge. Alfred Ficcardi chairs the event with Jack Stahl Thomas Cragg and Jerry Rushin assisting. A intermission at 11 p.m. will name Mrs Corry. Cocktail hour from 7 to 8, buffet at 8, dance 10 to 2. Music by Dick Albreski's Townsmen of Erie. Proceeds go to the Elks Club Charity Fund.
