Hymie Martin Suspect in Potter Murder
United Press reports Hyman Martin alias Hymie Martin, 29, identified by two women and a Cleveland high school girl as the tenant of the apartment where William B Potter, ex Cleveland councilman, was slain just before a municipal graft trial. Potter was killed about 12 hours before his scheduled trial. The witnesses include Queen Esther Morgan and Mrs Retty Gray who also ties Martin to a separate case. Gray, also known as Radlich, is held in a $62,000 savings and trust robbery case from December. Police say the tenant is the man seen by the witnesses and arrested in Pittsburgh yesterday.
