Wesleyville Firemen Hurt In Store Fire
Two Wesleyville firemen, both well known locally, were overcome by smoke and four others suffered minor cuts in a fire at Gale Drygoods, 9428 Buffalo Road, around 8 pm Thursday. Fire officials estimate $2,000 in damage from smoke and water, believing the blaze started from an overheated furnace. Firemen worked an hour and a half to subdue the flames.
