Widespread flooding hit Wellton Arizona as a retaining wall collapsed after days of heavy rain. Two people are confirmed dead with six others missing as trains and communications were disrupted and property damage mounted.
Whig county commissioners approved a 7 mill tax rate for 1911 after delay caused by assessment figures. They set a $17 000 appropriation to buy voting machines despite opposition from Commissioner Hogan and lack of funding for township road projects. In Madrid on February 4 United Press reports Spain shifting from dictatorship to a republican form of government.
