Corry resident Ty Crandall formerly of Ty's Place on West Main street and later a tavern owner died at age 57 after a two week illness. He played professional baseball in several leagues, married Marjorie Mitchell in 1934, and was involved with the Blue Bonnet Hotel since 1949. He leaves his wife and several relatives. Services set for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Bracken Funeral Home with Rev. Paul F. Bauer officiating.
