A family of three from R D 6 Erle was injured yesterday afternoon in a three car crash south of Union City. Cleo Hartman 55 and his wife Mable 55 were treated and released from Union City Memorial Hospital. Sandra 15 suffered a leg laceration. Hartman stopped due to heavy snow when his wife left the car to clean the windshield and was struck by Joseph Cavanaugh 27 of Erie. A third vehicle driven by J Berne Greer of Centerville crashed into the Cavanaugh auto. Damage estimated at 600 dollars. Additional weekend accidents caused 800 dollars in damages with no injuries.
Patricia Morris, 9, daughter of Mrs. Clara C. Morris of 328 West Washington, stepped into the street as the traffic signal changed. She was treated for a bruised right leg and admitted for observation at Corry Memorial Hospital. Driver Richard K. Farrer, 17, of RD 9, Corry, said to have had a green light, could not stop in time. Witnesses reported the girl started to cross as the signal changed and was struck in the crosswalk at North Center and Washington.

Three checks were cashed at DIES ON AIRLINER Clymer Wattsburg and Mill Wil MTAMI Fla. He was fined 100 dollars and costs and will undergo tests at the Western Penitentiary diagnostic clinic before beginning sentence. The detainee requested medical care during the hearing.
