Overloading Cause Of House Fire At DP William Mack Residence
Firemen were called to the DP William Mack residence at 16 East Bend Street yesterday morning to extinguish a blaze caused by an overloaded electrical system. Twelve firefighters and three pieces of equipment responded at 9:54. They were on scene about half an hour. Damage was not extensive. The fire started between the first and second floors and spread to floorboards.
