Fine Corry Hunter For Hlegal Kill
Carlyle Merritt of 239 Marion street pled guilty to illegal possession of an untagged deer and transportation of the kill. Deputy Game Protector Elmer Simpson reported the tip, and a search found the untagged buck at Merritt’s home before Alder man M. S. Cobbett. Actor William Bendix died at Los Angeles Good Samaritan Hospital from labor pneumonia and stomach ailments at 58. He created Chester Riley in The Life of Riley and starred in radio television and films. wife Therese and daughters Stephanie and Lorraine survived. Born January 14, 1906 in New York, Bendix once played a bat boy for the New York Giants before entering entertainment.

A Beaver County man, Nicholas Radogic, 51, of Freedom, won 40 000 in damages from Continental Transportation Lines after a December 21 1961 crash near Armco Steel Ambridge left his left leg amputated. The Allegheny County Common Pleas Court jury awarded the sum for the resulting injuries.
