ITTSBURGH (AV) Wiffl y one People were arrested late Tuesday night in vice raids in Pittsburgh and three other communities. Seventy state police and 16 Allegheny County detectives participated in the raids. They were armed with 50 body warrants. All but two of those arrested were women. They were arraigned before Alderman Regia Welsh of Allison Park. The women were charged with prostitution and the men were charged with solicitation to commit sodomy. Both men were female impersonators, state police said. Raided were a club, hotel, six bars and 2 home in Pittsburgh, two motels, one in Baldwin Borough and the other in Monroeville, and eight homes in McKeesport. We conducted an investigation and then we went to the state police. Solicitations were filed by undercover men of the state police.
