Attempted robbery at North Warren post office fails
Five men attempted to rob the North Warren post office and fled toward the depot after being deterred by a resident. Dr. Ernest J. Cowden shouted from his window and alerted police, who pursued the suspects as they drove away with scales and funds from the tool house. The robbers eluded capture. authorities continued investigations.
