Hunting accident proves fatal near Butler Pennsylvania

A 14 year old boy, David Shearer of Conowago, died after a hunting accident in the woods yesterday. State Policeman John Taylor said Shearer lay partially concealed, his head visible, when a fellow hunter shot him by mistake. The incident occurred during a hunt for game in Butler County Memorial Hospital reported.

School census shows slight drop in total enrollment
