Barns Burned and Cattle Killed in Storm Strikes
An electrical storm north of Shinebty between Corry and Findley Lake caused several fires. Two barns burned on the Bell Skellie place at French Creek. Local Theater Leased to H Sallam for Season
A deal was completed yesterday afternoon leasing the Library theater to H Sallam a known theatrical man of Hire. Desmond and Parker turned the property over for management during the coming season. Sallam will direct the local house and open season from Augier to Jet for Fair Week with large attractions booked. The theater front is nearly finished and interior work continues with new opera chairs and improved balcony arrangements.
