Local boy injured in driving incident after being struck by a pass
Edward Peterson 9i, son of Mr and Mrs Ed Peterson, narrowly escaped death when hit by a pass while dodging between parked cars and hot vehicles near his home. He suffered a compound fracture of the right leg and facial bruises as youths looted potteries and caused chaos on the highway. Police cited three teens with fines of $45 each and costs.

Funeral Yesterday for Norman Anderson
Funeral services for Norman Ove Anderson were held yesterday afternoon at Bracken-Keating Funeral Home. Rev. R R Meekman led the service with Rev B Q Altie assisting, as music by Mrs Debs Sorenson and Mrs EH Altie accompanied by Carl Way. Interment followed at Pine Grove Cemetery with many relatives from Concord township and elsewhere in attendance.
