Four bridges and about 19.95 miles of concrete and macadam roadways in Adams Armstrong Berks Blair Huntingdon Cumberland Crawford Erie Juniata Northumberland Schuylkill and York counties. Low bids totaled 878,987 with 88 bids submitted across 12 projects. Crawford county project on Northwest and West Church streets and a three mile Erie to Spartansburg stretch let to George S Mellert Weitner Co of Medis in Ohio at 110,675. Work to begin as machinery can be moved. The Corry Bridge and Supply Co was low bidder for Route 204 in Wayne township Crawford county at 10,181.44 after clarification of bids. Jay Speaker Pittsburgh had proposed but bid was later ruled invalid. Corry firm awarded.
