Arthur Glent Hult aged 19 of Crescent City, Val, formerly Franklin, died when the car he drove sideswiped near Crescent City. His companion Miss Theresa Kurtenbach sustained serious injuries. Hult’s funeral is planned in Franklin with Rev. Glarke officiating.

Watchman Shot During Attempted Robbery at Weil-McLain Plant
Roy Hucklebery night watchman at Weil-McLain radiator plant on 10th Street and East Avenue says two men tried to hold him up Sunday night. In the scuffle one thief wrested his revolver and a shot peppered Hucklebery’s finger. Police and detectives found the gun and four discharged cartridges about the scene. Plant officials report a prior holdup at the Weil-McLain yards by a colored man weeks earlier.
