Susquehanna Pa April 28 Richard and Warren Bailey brothers of Stevens Point Pa were instantly killed and two young girls Grace Whitman 14 and Hazel Yopt 10 of Melrose Pa were injured when the auto they rode in plunged over a thirty foot embankment en route from Stevens Point to Susquehanna. The girls were walking to a party when offered a ride by the young men.
A court awarded $15,000 in damages against the House of David after John W Manuel and family sued the sect, alleging immoral conditions and teaching.
