Former Corry Girl Succumbs at Buffalo

Mis Marjorie Hay, daughter of Dr and Mrs William Hay former Corry residents, died at her Buffalo home Sunday night at 1 10 o'clock from spiral meningitis at age 18. Girl Struck by Motorcyclist in Main Street Crash

A 12 year old girl on roller skates was hit as a motorcycle rider turning at Main and Pentar streets failed to avoid her. The rider slowed for the passing vehicle and claimed he tried to dodge the girl. The girl was taken to her home after medical attention and the case was settled with the parents. no prosecution followed.

Marine fliers complete trip from the Pacific

At Wallington April 30 three of four Marine fliers who left San Diego April 1 completed a continental flight finishing at Hollis field. A fourth was unable to arrive. The group received arrival messages from Wallington field as the planes were escorted by high-ranking officials including Navy Secretary Henley, Admiral Moffatt, and General John Les Jeune of the Marine Corps.
