Man Burned to Death Near Kittanning
Special to the Journal Titusville April 26 1 G Chapman formerly of Warren who with his wife had moved to farm near Kittanning was burned to death in a house fire caused by an exploding oil lantern. Mrs Chapman was rescued by neighbors but the husband perished. The widow is left destitute as all belongings burned. Edwards a local well known figure helped in the rescue attempt.

Reservoir in splendid condition water supply invites visit
Officials of the Cory Water Supply Company invited the public and city authorities to tour the reservoir this afternoon or Tuesday afternoon between three and five. They described recent cleaning and renovation including a liquid cement coating over the basin and noted the new pump at the North Corry station creating a jet twenty six feet high. Visitors could view the water filling the reservoir from the waterworks park atop the hill.
