Corry Area Arts Council plans a Tuesday April 28 8 pm performance of Godspell at Corry Area High School auditorium. Village Dinner Theatre Players of Erie will stage the musical with tickets 3 for adults and 2 for students and seniors, available at local offices and shops.
Mrs Linda Crowell named Pledge of the Year and Mrs Therese Robb along with Mrs Renee Patterson recognized for perfect attendance. Columbus Club officers elected Sheri Bensink president Peggy Stroup VP Lynnne Schaeffer secretary Loretta Clabbatt treasurer Diane Volk social secretary Pam Stroup news reporter. Plans include attending the Sew Show at Warren YMCA and next meeting April 30 at the Bensink home.
The Stanford Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary hosted a belated Easter egg hunt at Mr. and Mrs. George Bart’s Buffalo Road home for children. Refreshments were served and the next session is planned for May 16 at 1 30 p.m. at Mrs. Marge Matteson’s West Washington Street extension home. Moose Women plan chapter night at 8 p.m. Officers must arrive by 7 30 for ticket and linen basket drawings. Winners in various age groups were announced, with juniors Jeanie Benson Steven Hall Lori Brigham and young winners Eric McCray Michael Benson Carol Barr noted.
