Trunk murder victims include young boy and mother
INDIANAPOLIS AP Three persons were locked in an automobile trunk and gassed to death early today. A 62 year old man Melvin Carr was found dead beside the car in his garage. Police suspect the killer died accidentally while checking the victims. The teen girl appeared raped per homicide sergeant James Parnell. The victims died two to three hours before officers arrived. Carr lay beneath the car rear bumper as investigators noted claw marks inside the trunk.
