Beverly Audland, 17, underwent a lie detector test in Los Angeles as detectives push an all out homicide probe into the death of aspiring actor William Stanall. She says Stanall, a suitor and Errol Flynn associate, menaced her with a pistol in a game of Russian roulette at her Hollywood apartment and fired the fatal shot. Stanall died Sunday at General Hospital on his 21st birthday after being booked on suspicion of rape. Audland is being held at Juvenile Hall for a hearing on adequate parental supervision.
Corry School Board last night tentatively approved a budget of about 720 944 dollars proposed by Superintendent William E Rodemeyer. The plan will raise property taxes to 15 mills and keep the 7 per capita tax and 1 percent wage tax unchanged. Final approval with last minute cuts is due before week’s end for publication ahead of May annual meeting.
