Two railroad officials spoke at the Kiwanis regular meeting at noon. W Snyder superintendent and treasurer of the Bloomsburg Sullivan Railroad urged fellowship as central to Kiwanis. J M Skaehill Meadville division agent of the Hile Railroad outlined opportunities for club development. A committee led by Frank Ragland was formed to work with Robby and Corry Motor Clubs for a Spartanshoro conference with county commissioners. Proposals for an Erie club visit and joint meeting were discussed for later.

Glee Club concert slated for Friday night at high school

Music lovers will attend a Muskingum College Men's Glee Club concert at the Corry High School Auditorium. The group begins a spring tour through Pennsylvania and Ohio with vocal and instrumental pieces plus readings by Mr. Carmichael. Tickets cost adults 85 cents and children 95 cents, available from members or Miss Pillgott's Music Shop.

Knights Templar Ball Tonight Draws Northwestern NY Invites

Grand Union opens new grocery and meat market in city

Officials of the Grand Union Tea Company announced the opening of a new store and modern meat market in the Masonic Temple building on North Center Street. Attempt Made to Assassinate King Emmanuel in Milan

An explosion near Milan wounded 45 and killed 14 as King Victor Emmanuel III passed by. The blast, from a Maxim-type bomb placed overnight, occurred at the Piazza del Duomo during a royal procession amid a loyal crowd. Two Are Killed in Hutchinson Mine Blast at Herminie
