Animal experiments show stresses speed cancer, with isolation and trauma increasing tumor development. Researchers note some emotional factors may relate to cancer, but clinical methods are often unscientific. Emphasis shifts to treating the patient as a whole.
The State Fish Hatchery completed stocking trout streams in the Corry area. Hatchery manager Niels Sorenson reported 111 000 trout placed in area streams in preparation for opening day April 7. He noted remaining stock for Crooked Creek Elk Creek and 20 Mile Run near Erie and ongoing regional stocking from Bellefonte Hatchery to continue this week.
The plan calls for months of study to organize projects and determine fund use with districts near the initial answers taking the lead. Franklin and Pithole Creek in the Pleasantville area will receive 7 800 brownies and rain bows.
In Boonville Missouri a mother Bertha Bowen 57 and her son Ronald Wayne Bowen 22 died in a head on collision last night. Bertha Bowen was returning home to Blackwater Missouri after visiting her daughter in law and new grandson at St Joseph Hospital. Ronald Bowen was driving from Blackwater to Boonville to see his wife and son.
In science, math, social studies, English and the humanities SUL other funds will go to ward creating better vocational and technical education. Some of the funds might find their way into the proposed question-technical show being planned for Erie County, Dr. Kelpein said. The educational bill is elastic and could be of inestimable value to poorer communities or to the poorer class child in average communities, the educators say.
