Spanish Club Supper Planned For April 20th
Corry Area High School Spanish Club schedules its annual Spanish supper on April 20 as part of National Library Week. The Corry Public Library hosts a homecoming for Charles Lucey on April 21, with a planning meeting including 36 people from 30 organizations. The event is led by Mrs. M O Baldwin and features Mr. Lucey, a Scripps-Howard writer, who has just published Ireland and the Irish. The library open house is listed for April 7 and Lucey will speak at 3 to 5 p.m. at the Corry Motor Inn dinner at 6:30 under Mrs Jack Stahl’s guidance. A 1923 Corry High School graduate, Lucey recently returned from Ireland and resides in Washington and Ashton, Mass.
